Over the summer a lady asked me to model for her. Two hours a day, two days a week, for about two and a half months. I was so flattered. I even got paid! This is the end result. I went home for the "unveiling party" at the Grove Arcade downtown a few weekends ago. I was all dressed up, there was wine, and delicious chocolate truffles and cupcakes - a classy affair. It was a very bizarre experience. I didn't feel rich or high class enough to be there.. And the people that commissioned the painting were ecstatic to meet me. I felt famous. People were pointing across the room at me and looking at the painting. My sweet parents took me and my sister to Carrabba's afterwords. It was a pretty strange but good day.
